Designed to work with your mattress and pillows. Our mattresses and pillows are designed to provide maximum body conformation and pressure relief. While woven high thread count sheets and pillow cases conventionally are regarded as the ultimate choice, they will cause a certain amount of surface tension and contact pressure. On a pillow this can mean ear pressure where you didn’t feel any on the unencased pillow and a mattress might suddenly feel firmer. Our fitted sheets and envelope-style pillow cases are designed to not only provide stretch but also breathable comfort. The long staple organic cotton knit works with our mattresses and pillows to naturally balance body temperature and control humidity. Synthetic bedding materials and down are effective insulators that can trap humidity resulting in disrupted sleep due to overheating and night sweats. A dry and healthy sleeping climate allows your body to relax, reduce your heart rate and blood pressure and achieve more restful sleep. A well ventilated, dry sleep environment also means fewer allergens like mold, and dust mites which improves breathing.
Clean comfort
Like all our components the organic stretch cotton in our fitted sheets and pillow cases is certified chemically safe by Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

Soft and rich without the sheen of other sateens, this washed, weighty sheeting is the essence of casual California style. After many trials, this is a more relaxed version of sateen, with a slightly heavier weave for lived-in comfort. Mini double needle stitch on cuffs. The fabric is finished with miDori bioSoft, a USDA certified biobased softener for added comfort and dryness.

Care instructions:
All of our organic cotton products are machine washable. We recommend machine washing on the gentle or delicate cycle with like colors, with cold water and a natural, plant based laundry detergent. We do not recommend using whiteners, as bleaching agents may diminish the brilliance and depth of the colors; when needed, use only non-chlorine bleach. Line dry, or tumble dry low and remove promptly. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles and are not recommended. Place a set of our wool dryer balls inside the dryer to naturally soften the fabric and reduce drying time. Use a warm iron as needed.
