A critically important but often overlooked factor in getting deeper sleep is regulating moisture - humidity build-up caused from perspiration and breathing - and temperature in your sleep environment. We at European Sleep Design take this very seriously. Our camel hair-filled or wool-filled comforters and duvets are an alternative to feather-filled comforters and duvets and will keep you toasty dry and allergen-free. The camel-hair comforter is particularly luxurious. Available in different weights, this modular line of comforters and duvets is designed to let you add just the right amount of warmth.

100% Pure Mongolian Camel Hair Fill

Camel hair is an exceptional filling, made from the hair of the common two-humped Bactrian camel of Western Mongolia. (Whodathunkit?) A finer hair than wool with a somewhat fluffier feel, like that of goose down, but with an extraordinary ability to regulate moisture and temperature under all thermal conditions.

A camel hair-filled comforter duvet is an especially good choice for people suffering from excess perspiration.

CARE: Camel hair fill naturally repels moisture and dirt so is inherently clean. Cotton shell may be spot cleaned with mild soap solution. May be exposed to sun and aired to freshen. Otherwise dry clean only, eco-friendly method, infrequently and only if needed.

More about camel hair... For thousands of years our Mongolian camel friends have proven their adaptability to the vast swings in desert temperature that can occur - even in the same 24-hour period. Extreme variations of temperature occur in the desert of the Province Gobi Altai, where summer highs often top 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and winter months can see significant amounts of snow. We can't think of a better comforter fill than camel hair.

Wool, a highly breathable natural fiber, holds up to 30% of its weight in moisture, allowing your perspiration to evaporate, which keeps you cool and dry when its warmer, or warm and dry when its cooler.

Made of eco-certified natural cotton and pure merino wool, these wool-filled comforter duvets have snaps at the corners so you can add or remove layers for year-round comfort.
